Further appointments as ITT Hub 2020 gears up to deliver inaugural event

The organisers of ITT Hub 2020, the new event for Innovation & Technology in Transport, have announced three further appointments as the team gears up to deliver the inaugural event in May 2020.

Peter Thompson joins as Commercial Director, with Ann Timmons coming on board in the role of Marketing Manager. Georgia Tolley makes it three new recruits for the Binswood Media team, taking on an Event Assistant role.

Reporting to CEO Mark Griffin, Peter Thompson brings a breadth of experience and knowledge to the team, joining after five years in a sales leadership role at Reed Exhibitions. There he worked closely with exhibitors to maximise their return-on-investment from participation in some high-profile events.

His 30 plus year career has been in the media and advertising industry encompassing national press, cinema, consumer marketing data and exhibitions, working in diverse industries and geographies grappling with a huge range of different client issues.  A constant theme has been working with clients to enable them to grow their businesses.

Ann Timmons has accumulated over 30 years of marketing experience in the Business to Business market in a variety of roles. Previously involved in key transportation exhibitions and shows such as Railtex, Innotrans, SIFA, CV Show, APTA, Expo Ferroviaria and IMTS, Ann has worked at these events which have taken place in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the USA.

Working with colleagues and key stakeholders, Ann’s role at ITT Hub 2020 will be to manage and deliver marketing programmes for the event across a range of channels.

Currently studying for a degree in Event Management at Coventry University, Georgia Tolley will be developing her skillset and providing invaluable support across the Binswood Media team.

Commenting on the latest appointments, Binswood Media CEO Mark Griffin said, “We have made huge strides in launching ITT Hub 2020 into the market. The response has been quite staggering and has been reflected in support not only from a broad range of major exhibitors, but also from strategic partner FTA and a growing number of commercial and event partners.
