Advisory board poised to play important role in shaping new collaborative event

A 25 strong consultative body, drawn from all walks of the transport-related sector, is set to bring experience, insight and fresh-thinking to ITT Hub 2020 through the new event’s Advisory Board

ITT Hub 2020, an exciting new platform for Innovation & Technology in Transport in the UK, has convened a well-connected Advisory Board to help define and shape the event which will take place for the first time at Farnborough in May 2020.

The ITT Hub Advisory Board will consist of approximately 25 senior level decision makers drawn from all walks of the transport-related spectrum, who will bring important experience and insight to assist show organisers, Binswood Media.

Companies and organisations who have so far committed to be part of this important consultative body include Arthur J. Gallagher, Centrica Business Solutions, the Chartered Institute of Highways, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Department for Transport, Farnborough International, the Freight Transport Association, Highways England, Highways UK, Innovate UK, KPMG, Lloyds Banking Group, the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership, Lucketts Travel, Midlands Connect, National Grid, the RAC Foundation, the Renewable Energy Association, Transport Systems Catapult, Transport for the South East and TRL.

Leon Daniels OBE, Chairman of Binswood Media commented; “Since its launch, I am delighted to say that we have captured the imagination and support from a large number of organisations and companies, who want to be part of an event that showcases the latest innovations and technologies that are now the new reality in transport.

“The key focus of ITT Hub 2020 will be on energy, data, connectivity, policy, sustainability and transport across all aspects of the exhibition and seminars. It will be unique, as the suppliers of trucks, mini buses, buses, coaches, vans, taxis, autonomous/unmanned vehicles, intelligent transport, power/propulsion come together under one umbrella.

“Feedback to date confirms that there is huge desire for collaboration and thought leadership aligned to the Government’s “Road to Zero” campaign. By bringing together forward-thinking individuals and organisations who can help us define and shape this new industry event, the ITT Hub Advisory Board will play an important collaborative role in the run up to the inaugural exhibition in May 2020.”
